Day 1 - Sunday 17

Meet and greet at Glenbrook Farm Stay at 3pm, short ride around Margaret River single tracks, dinner at Glenbrook.

Day 2 - Monday 18

We start from Glenbrook with a gentle off road ride to Ten Mile Brook Dam then meander along the Margaret River through NP and State Forest before linking up with the rails to trails track north to Cowaramup. Passing to the west of the town we will be stopping at Cowaramup Rotary Park for lunch. After lunch we continue towards the coast with a stop at Howard Park winery. From Howard Park riders can either continue down Juniper Road to the spectacular Guillotines look out  and a swim in the ocean or idle the afternoon away at more the then a dozen wineries between Howard Park and our camp at Taunton Farm Holiday Park.

Day 3 - Tuesday 19

From Taunton Farm Holiday Park we zigzag our way back to the coast for morning tea at Wilyabrup then inland toward the northern end of the Margaret River catchment stopping at Cowaramup Rotary Park for lunch. Traveling through wineries, dairies, National Parks and State Forest most of today's ride will be on small sealed roads and bush tracks. Setting up camp on Margaret River at Canebreak Pool.

Day 4 - Wednesday 20

From our campsite at Cane break Pool we follow the contours south through NP before heading southwest in search of the Berry Farm Winery for lunch. Following lunch we head south east and off road winding our way through the State Forest before a thrilling descent to our campsite at Sues Bridge on the Blackwood River.

Day 5 - Thursday 21

Continuing south on small bush roads we traverse several beautiful wetlands before stopping for morning tea in the forest. We then wind our way back to the Blackwood River for lunch at Alexandra Bridge. After lunch we follow a series of tracks and back roads before following the river to Turner Caravan Park in Augusta .

Day 7 - Friday 22

  • Rest day for riders and volunteers in Augusta
  • Self catering day for all, with meals and snacks sourced by participants.
  • Activities in or near Augusta include caves, whale watching, body surfing, drinking coffee, canoeing, bike riding etc.

Day 7 - Saturday 23

From Augusta we head north along the Blackwood river before looping back inland and towards the Southern Ocean and Leeuwin Light House. After lunch at Flinders Bay wind our way north again to Hamelin Bay. For those who want to do a few more kilometres there will be an optional circuit down to Deepdene Beach

Day 8 - Sunday 24

After a swim at Hamelin Bay we ride along the ridge of Boranup NP, up the escarpment then back down to the beach for lunch at the old Contos Springs Campsite. From lunch we first travel south with dramatic views over Cape Freycinet before heading inland and back through the Boranup Karri forest. We then weave our way north through National Parks and State Forest back to Glenbrook Farm Stay where riders will be treated to a final dinner of home cooked curries from members of the local community.

Day 9 - Monday 25

Sleep, eat and pack.

Ride to the Margaret River mouth for a cappuccino and a final swim in the Indian Ocean.
